Well, first the basics. I am a single woman in my late 20s, living in Baltimore MD. I love watching movies, going to Orioles games, and -- to the dismay of most of my friends and family -- beginning to listen to Christmas music in September.
I also love American history and politics, which I imagine a good number of my posts will be about. Politically, I'm a Populist Lefty, wishing like hell that I could've been alive in the late 19th century to have voted for William Jennings Bryan (henceforth known as WJB). I'm probably further to the Left than most people realize considering how much energy I put into criticizing liberals. But I really get annoyed by elitism, whether it is the class-based elitism on the Right, or the cultural elitism that really does exist on the Left.
Of course, I imagine not all of the posts will be about politics -- could be whatever I feel like ranting about on any given day.
