Apparently it wasn’t just the song “Orioles Magic,” but this video that was playing at Camden Yards today following the Orioles win (I watched the game on TV, didn’t see the video.) Anyway, it is kinda a must see…
New Orioles Magic video
I don’t know… they’re playing well, but more importantly, maybe these guys get [...]

Red Sox fans invaded Baltimore this week. It’s craziness… I went for a walk down to the harbor today and those friggin’ jerseys were everywhere. I’m guessing most of them came up from DC - when I lived down there, it seemed as though the Red Sox were the de facto home team. [...]

See? I’m good…

Last night, I posted that the Orioles needed a rainout to turn their short losing streak around…
Well, today in Chicago, they played 11 innings, were tied going into the 12th, then had the game called due to rain. Now all should be back on track tomorrow…

Just a series of random thoughts from today… some things that I wish, and some things that annoy me:
1. Watching Howard Kurtz talk to Bill Safire on Reliable Sources is like watching someone trying to respectfully quiet his elderly grandfather when he starts talking about life during the depression. That said, as much [...]

First, the Orioles:
Down 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth against the Mariners. Markakis leads off with a double, moves to third and then scores on consecutive ground-outs by Millar and Huff. So, 2-1 with 2 outs. Luke Scott singles, and Adam Jones is sent in to run for him. Jones [...]

The Orioles are on the verge of winning their second straight (leading 7 - 2 in the 9th), which would give them a winning record on the year. I get that its only the third game of the season, but I didn’t think I would have an opportunity at all this season to use [...]

Hey look, we won one!

Orioles come back from a three run deficit… twice… and won their first game of the season.  8 - 6 against Tampa Bay.  Maybe for the only time this season, we have a .500 record.
